The left hates violence ォ Da Techguy's BlogThis is the unapologetic left. They are afraid right now because they are losing and the more afraid they get the less guarded with their speech they get.
It's almost like they were expecting cover from somewhere...
But with the internet? There's nowhere to hide.
They can't hide the hypocracy.
They can't stand and be counted.
Obama trashed bankruptcy law to move the United Auto Workers ahead of General Motors' and Chrysler's secured creditors. And his regulatory agencies are bypassing Congress to enact policies he knows the elected representatives would never approve. The strategy exposes the arrogant liberal conviction that they are justified in imposing their will on the people, because only they know what's best for America.
These Democrats in Indiana and Wisconsin merit universal condemnation.
What they are saying is that the people no longer have the right to use the ballot box to decide the direction of their government.
That's a rule change our system can't survive.
But one they're trying to shove anyway.
It's getting really interesting, isn't it?

Well...the big union rallies that were supposed to be the ultimate call for victory on Sunday were pretty much a flop - but yes...life is getting interesting. _Much_ too interesting.
My husband thinks I'm nuts because I've started stockpiling food. We live in an area where fresh fruits and veggies will probably continue to be available, but things like flour, rice, beans...stuff like that all has to be trucked in. Prices are _going_ to be going up, I think.
I want to learn to cook more with dried beans. I never have, much. Boston Baked Beans were pretty much the limit of my bean cooking experience, and that was mostly from canned beans. My Mommy taught me to buy B&M baked beans and brown bread. That's what I've used for the most part.
I've recently been reading online about using them different ways. There are so many kinds - but as an inexperienced bean eater, I have to wonder if they actually taste different, or if it's an eyeball thing mostly. Guess I'm going to find out.
