The British sense of humor isn't the same as ours.

Hell, they even spell it different!

I did a comment on this yesterday, and it disappeared.

That's pretty amazing sheep dog work. If you've never seen a sheep dog trial... they're something to watch. The sheepherder stands at the start point and signals the dog. The signals can be hand signals, whistles or calls. The dog moves a group of 5 sheep out of a pen(shepherd opens the gate) and then through a pattern of half a dozen open gates. Sometimes the group goes around the set up panels sometimes just straight through. At the end, the dog brings the sheep to the starting pen, the shepherd opens the gate and the dog puts them all in. Usually at some point, the dog is commanded to circle them all and bring them to a halt, where they stand for some set time. Points off for sheep breaking out. One of the odd things is that the dog controls the sheep partly by the expected running and herding type action, but the dog also controls the sheep by his eyes. You can particularly see this on the "hold" period. He lays down, and just stares at them. They don't take their eyes off him.

Anyway...the LEDs are great, but the herding is terrific. I wonder ... how long did it take to put the whole thing together, and do shepherders these days carry a laptop along with them to stave off the boredom...and obviously boredom can be put to good use!
