FOXNews.com - Clinton Campaign Accused for the Second Time of Planting a Question at a Public Appearance - Politics | Republican Party | Democratic Party | Political SpectrumBut people really need to cut her some slack! So what if she's planting questions in her audience? So what if she's avoiding anything that's unscripted? So what if she's such a control freak she doesn't dare allow any questioning that SHE doesn't control?SIOUX CITY, Iowa — For the second time in as many days, Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign has had to deal with accusations of planting questions during public appearances, FOX News has learned.
In a telephone interview Saturday, Geoffrey Mitchell, 32, said he was approached by Clinton campaign worker Chris Hayler to ask a question about how she was standing up to President Bush on the question on funding the Iraq war and a troop withdrawal timeline.
That she's planting sock puppets in the audience doesn't mean she won't be a good President, able to deal with criticism and difficult exchanges with other world leaders! That she refuses to answer definitively on anything simply means she's trying to see both sides of all issues, not that she's evasive or indecisive without massive input from the polls and her handlers.
After all, when you've already been anointed Queen you're supposed to be above such petty questioning. This simply should not be happening! And the sooner you peons realize it and force the media to cut out questioning of her actions, no matter how dubious, the better!
All sarcasm aside (and if you couldn't recognize the above as sarcasm, hie thee hence to Dr. Sanity and make an appointment) the thing that disqualifies Hillary (and a good number of other politicians running for the office) is that they don't care about anyone or anything BUT getting into that office. Step on the truth while doing so? Who cares! Twist their record to the point it resembles a rubber band on a balsa airplane? So what? Say one thing and do another? It's politics as usual! They're in charge, and things BETTER go the way they want or heads will roll!
I would hope that the 'reality-based' crowd would actually be able to respond to reality instead of the fantasies that they've been busy writing for the last 8 years. (You know the ones - the imminent implementation of a Christian theocracy here in the US, how the good guys in Iraq are really the ones setting off roadside bombs and killing people because we're stealing all of Iraq's oil, and that all we've got to do is leave the ME and peace will magically break out and the like...) I see no indication of that, however. Which leaves me to wonder - if they're that disconnected from big-R Reality, why in the hell should I vote for any candidate that they support... even marginally?

Actually, I don't have a problem with planted questions - unless those are the only ones allowed. I'm not sure why there's such a fuss about it. The answers are more important - and she is woefully short on those! Well...maybe woefully long - too many answers for the same thing!
I didn't have a problem with the FEMA thing either - except it was probably handled badly. If they deliberately didn't have a press conference because they didn't want questions they didn't want to answer, that's bad. If they just wanted to give a public appearance and present what they _thought_ were the most likely questions, it really doesn't seem like a big deal.

I am sure she will discover astroturf for her campaign... and pay folks to endorse her directly, instead of just through promises of cabinet assignments and pork. It shouldn't be long with the sort of money she has...

Hillary supporters: please don’t get discouraged. PLEASE. She is getting attacked from all sides because people deep down know she is our only hope for America and they’re trying to ruin it for everybody. Hillary is the ONLY candidate with these 4 attributes: honor, patriotism, loyalty, and kindness. I got $35 in the bank that says no other candidate has those attributes.

VFHO -
Honor? She hasn't a clue about it.
Patriotism? She's the state, the state is her. You don't question her. I won't vote for that.
Loyalty? On HER own terms. She's loyal to herself, and her entourage. Everyone else can go hang.
Kindness... like when she doesn't leave a tip, or abhorred the military when she was First Lady? Ain't gonna go for that.
I judge by what I see - not what I'm told. What I see indicates she's not suitable at all.

Jerry:
I can't tell if this is real or satire. It reads like one of my 'this is the mind of your enemy' posts but I swear I didn't write it.
Does the header info give you any clue to where it came from?

Not really - the IP is 24.33.95.57, but that just goes to Roadrunner. The Domain name's registered with GoDaddy.
Most likely a drive-by spammer. Man, I dislike those...

I think you're both right. Read somewhere that the voteforhillary web site is probably done by her campaigners. The article I saw based this guess on the fact that there was negative stuff on the other Dem candidates. I don't remember where I saw it or I'd post a link.
I've seen that same comment on another site, though, so I think it's a "paulbot" thing where they do a Technorati search for the name and then paste the same comment wherever hillary is mentioned on a blog - in that sense, it's spam.

Seen the same... not necessarily a partisan, as enough web sites have similar comment forms to allow for robot output. The Paulbots seem to be real people turned into robots, while Hillary wants to turn real robots into people...

Well, I get so few readers I'll take what I can get - just wish they'd stay and actually chat a while!
