The Copenhagen PostWell, why would they want to sully their offended rantings with actually looking at the pictures?A new documentary shows that several of the instigators behind the violent Mohammed cartoon demonstrations never even saw the drawings
In a new documentary film, the violent protests in the Middle East over the infamous Mohammed cartoons in 2005 are proven to have been instigated by Islamic leaders who never actually saw the drawings themselves.
But we must take them seriously - we don't want to give offense...
Or do we?

Your question assumes independent thought. I don't think independent thought is considered a good thing among the islamics.
By the same token - I have to confess to being willing to take action against Miller Brewing without having seen all the photos taken by Zombie at the Folsom St. celebration. The few shown at Michelle Malkins' site were enough to convince me.

You ever get the feeling if they actually got what they're protesting for, they'd be the first ones to protest AGAINST it?
Of course, the logic of such an absurdity woould escape them...

No...but you have to wonder what the limits would be. The problem is that what they want is to twofold: first, they're _normal_. No matter that abnormal is simply a designation for that which is outside a certain portion of the Bell curve - they want to be considered _normal_. Secondly, they want to eliminate any hint that what they do is wrong - in any way. They do not want to be judged. This is true of Libs generally - they consider non-judgement a virtue. Of course, in order to eliminate judgement, you have to eliminate standards - of any kind - because having standards means that _somebody_ might not meet those standards, and gosh! that means we'd have to judge him as not having met the standard. Now..eliminate standards, and what's left? tyranny of the majority - except because of the victim clause, it becomes tyranny of the minority. Up is down.
This short essay could be titled "Why I'm a Republican". Or something like that.
