Flaming Berger?

Ummm, okay...

HILL AVOIDS FLAMING BERGER

October 9, 2007 -- CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Hillary Rodham Clinton distanced herself yesterday from close friend and adviser Sandy Berger - who snatched classified documents form the National Archives - after it was revealed he is helping guide her presidential campaign.

"He has no official role in my campaign. He's been a friend for more than 30 years. But he doesn't have any official role," she insisted.

Asked if Berger had an "unofficial" role, Clinton told USA Today, "I have thousands of unofficial advisers . . . and, you know, I appreciate all of that. But he has no official role in my campaign."

You know, if I wanted to be taken seriously as a Presidential Candidate I'd probably want to scrub my image and disassociate myself from folks like Berger.

But then again, Hillary probably knows pretty well what Berger's keeping in his pants...

This, I think, would be a decided liability to her campaign.

Well, Sandy does have big socks to keep filled now, doesn't he? If he could just get better access to the National Archives he could do a really fine clean-up job on Bill's wonderful misadventures in the 1990's and likewise keep Hillary from having too many blunders recorded. Just put them down the 'memory hole'.

As a USMC retiree said of Berger: "20 years turning big rocks into small rocks." Me too on that score. The man destroyed the historical record for partisan purposes and deserves a long, long, long stay at the Federal Pen. Not a wrist-slap and getting access BACK in three years... that undermines the respect for the security and document laws *inside* the Federal Government no end. For offenses a regular Joe/Jane would suffer on that sort of thing, Berger got off with *nothing*.

The Clinton entourage has no respect for the rule of law and it *shows*.

What Berger had in his pants was a lifetime annuity. She says he isn't getting paid for his advice...boy...I'd love to go over his financials and assets with a fine tooth comb....!

And that apparently makes them the favorites of the Democratic party. Makes you wonder what else is considered disposable if the rule of law is so quickly jettisoned.

I would imagine he's got things pretty well hidden. After all, those pants hold a lot of secrets!
