Ron Paul Aide jumps Ship

Apparently he doesn't inspire much loyalty.

Eric Dondero, a former Ron Paul staffer, is declaring against his former boss after last night's debate embarrassment, where Mr. Paul appeared to blame 9/11 on U.S. foreign policy.
I'm thinking the 'Blame the US for 9/11" crowd may find Ron Paul appealing, but few others.

Of course, it'll all be seen as a conspiracy to silence someone telling truth to power. (One of the more flatulent social statements of our time, I'm afraid... Makes you feel good, stinks up the air around you, and drives folks who don't particularly appreciate the smell away.)

Impressive internet-demonstrated accomplishments...

You know what's impressive? I didn't even hear about the guy until I noticed spammers on Digg about him. And after looking at his website, it's really up in the Powerball odds ranges whether I'd vote for him or not.

I think Mike over at Flopping Aces has the best reax to RP.

We very clearly *know* what al Qaeda, Iran/Hezbollah, Hamas/Islamic Jihad and many others *want* from the US as they have clearly stated so: Convert or die.

Really, kind of hard to 'listen to them' when that is what they constantly repeat. And I do wish such organizations would stop sending folks here to establish that concept in America. And that requires realizing that they mean what they say. We have the dead to prove it.

Yeah, but some believe if we just TALKED to them, and gave them what they WANT, they wouldn't HATE us any more!

Well, after all, why hate a corpse?
