Packing up and going home ain't an option, yet it's the best one she can come up with?
Why don't we just pencil in a resumption of hostilities in, oh, 2015?
Congrats. The Dems have just lost any possiblity of my vote. And I'm thinking seriously (and those who know me know just how serious this is) of donating money to the Republican party. Yeah, they aren't perfect, but...

I was bemused by those folks who think that if the Democrats come to full power they will suddenly become *responsible*.
The past leads one to think otherwise.

I hoped they'd realize that with great power came great responsibility - but no such luck. They think they can fart around, play at governing and being responsible, say all the 'right things' to please their base, and it won't matter in the long run.
Well, it does. And we can't afford that sort of crap any more. They need to grow up real damn fast, and I'm not seeing it in this.
