Heh. This is good. My brother's got a birthday coming up soon. I might send him one of these via snail-mail.
"Dear Brother.
Once again you're 11 years older than I am.
You old fart.
Love, Your Annoying Younger Brother."
I LIKE this idea...
Snail mail's $4, Emails are free. Think of the possibilities.

Lin's sister Kathy is almost exactly ten years younger. Some of the birthday cards that pass between them are -- uh, amazing to see.
Currently, Lin is contemplating Kathy's C'mas gift, a box that says, on its lid:
"I smile because you are my sister.
"I laugh because there's nothing you can do about it."

My sister Carol was 60 her last birthday. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night screaming because I was dreaming about what's she's likely to do for revenge.
Maybe she'll forget. Old farts usually can't remember sh^t.

John -
Revenge is a dish best served cold - before you stick it in the microwave.
Hey, maybe she'll get you a 750 watt nightlight!

About greeting cards...
Last year, the boys didn't give me a Father's Day card. The reason, they said, was that all the FD cards at Target and Hallmark attempted 'humor' on the basis of:
* Beer
* Baldness, or
* Flatulence
It must be hell working at a greeting card company.

About as much fun as being in the Fools' Guild in Ankh-Morpork on Diskworld, I'd think...
Most depressing job around - except for being a mime...
